My Account

Registration is required in order to download individual model data sets. We may use your registered email address to notify you of:

  1. New data sets
  2. New features
  3. Training opportunities
  4. Any errors that are found in existing data sets that you may have downloaded
  5. Modifications to existing features
  6. Updates to the Website Terms of Use or the Data Download Terms of Use

In My Account, registered users can control a range of settings to personalise their experience using the Climate Change in Australia website.

  1. View and modify default settings for online tools
  2. (In future, you will be able to opt in/out for notifications - at present, you can only do this during the registration process)

Email addresses and Passwords

If you need to change or reset your password, please use the tools in the My Account page. An option to reset your account password is also provided on the sign-in screen.

If you wish to change the email address associated with your account, you will need to register again using the new address (since your email address is your user name).

If you wish to disable your account, please email us with your name and the email address associated with the account.

Please note that if we attempt to contact you at your registered email address and we receive an 'undeliverable' message from your provider, we may delete your account.  If this happens to you and you wish to continue to use the registered user functionality of the site, please re-register with a valid email address.

Test your climate science knowledge

Climate science is complex - climate projections science is more so. This website has a large range of resources for those who wish to build their understanding. Even if you have worked with climate projections before, you will probably find the resources useful.

If you'd like to test your understanding of important concepts relating to climate change impact assessment, you can sit the quiz. It consists of 20 questions covering the content in the Online Training . You can do the quiz in multiple sessions - it remembers where you are up to.
